Dr. Lai is a famous interventional cardiologist in southern Taiwan, who is interested in clinical services and researches regarding clinical and interventional cardiovascular fields. He has engaged in clinical management of coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, hemodialysis access dysfunction, preventive medicine, etc. for near twenty years. He has proficient experience in many kinds of cardiovascular interventions including cardiac catheterization, coronary artery angiography, coronary intervention, peripheral angiography, and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) for arteriovenous shunt dysfunction. He has successfully completed more than 3000 cardiac catheterizations and over 5000 percutaneous transluminal angioplasties for AV shunt dysfunctions over the past 15 years. Importantly, the risk of complications appeared very low below 1%. He also published several research articles in renowned interventional journals regarding the aspects of coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, peripheral intervention on hemodialysis access dysfunction, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure.
